ヴァネッサ・エンリケス
Vanessa ENRÍQUEZ
1973年メキシコ出身、ベルリン在住。イェール大学大学院グラフィックデザイン専攻修了。精神的な実践と、現代科学をもとに瞑想的かつ探求的なドローイングを通し自然のなかの隠されたパターンとその相互関係を明らかにすることを試みる。近年はVHSテープや音をドローイングのツールとして用い、実験を行っている。主な活動として2021年 個展「Resounding Songs」（DrawingLab、フランス）、2019年 個展「Foco Tonal」（Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Querétaro、メキシコ）などがある。

Transdisciplinary artist. Born in 1973 in Mexico City. Lives in Berlin.
ENRÍQUEZ received a MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University. Based on spiritual practices and the modern sciences, she attempts to reveal the hidden patterns and interconnectedness in nature through a contemplative and inquisitive approach to drawing. Recently she has focused on the experimentation with VHS tape and sound as drawing tools. Major solo exhibitions include “Resounding Songs” (DrawingLab, Paris) in 2021 and “Foco Tonal” (MACQ, Mexico) in 2019.
