大城真
OSHIRO Makoto
1978年、沖縄生まれ。東京拠点。パフォーマー、アーティスト。サウンドを中心として、光や電気、動くオブジェクトも扱いながら制作発 表を行う。電子回路や日用品、廃品などの身近な素材を組み合わせ て制作した演奏・作曲のための楽器や道具を使ったライヴ・パフォー マンス、並行して音の振動や介入という性質に焦点を当てたインスタレーション作品の制作を行なう。「夏の大△」メンバー。同グループメンバーの矢代諭史と川口貴大と共にレーベル「Basic Function」も運営する。近年の主な活動に、企画監修「Audio Base Camp #1は じめてのガチ聴き」山口情報芸術センター（山口、2022年）、ディレクション「GRENZFREQUENZ 限界振動」ゲーテインスティテュート東京（東京、2022年）、グループ展「Nervous Systems」The Observatory（シンガポール、2019年）など。
Oshiro was born in Okinawa, Japan in 1978. He is a Tokyo-based performer and artist. His primary medium is sound, but he also combines other elements including light, electricity and movement of objects. In live performances, he uses self-made tools and instruments that are based on electronic devices, every day materials, and junk. His installation work handles sound as a physical and auditory phenomenon and focuses on characteristics such as vibration and interference. He is a member of installation/performance group The Great Triangle with Takahiro Kawaguchi and Satoshi Yashiro and also singlehandedly runs music label Basic Function.
