Artist. Born in 1978 in Miyagi Prefecture. With a focus on the theme of boundaries between pictures and language, as well as “drawing” and “writing”, Suzuki has been expanding his field of drawing through a variety of media including two-dimensional works, sculptures, videos, photographs, and performances. He has been to many cities overseas, including Sydney, Sao Paulo, London, New York, and Berlin as an artist-in-residence, and currently works as an associate professor at Tokyo University of the Arts, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Global Art Practice. Suzuki’s main solo exhibitions include, “Excavating Reflections” (Galerie Chantiers Boîte Noire, France, 2019) and “Signs of Faraway” (ACAC, 2015). His major group exhibitions include “MOT Annual 2019 Echo after Echo: Summoned Voices, New Shadows” (Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, 2019) and many others.

ENRÍQUEZ received a MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University. Based on spiritual practices and the modern sciences, she attempts to reveal the hidden patterns and interconnectedness in nature through a contemplative and inquisitive approach to drawing. Recently she has focused on the experimentation with VHS tape and sound as drawing tools. Major solo exhibitions include “Resounding Songs” (DrawingLab, Paris) in 2021 and “Foco Tonal” (MACQ, Mexico) in 2019.

Born in 1988 and based in Tokyo. Completed a master’s degree in Japanese Painting, Fine Arts Course, Musashino Art University Graduate School in 2015. She makes installations in which her elaborate pencil drawings are arranged. She tries to create scenery in which “here and a distant realm touch subtly with each other” in a space. Her solo exhibitions include “Yesterday’s story” (Cité international des arts, France) in 2018, “Ask him” (Shiseido Gallery, Tokyo) in 2020 and “I saw it, it was yours” (Gallery Koyanagi, Tokyo) in 2021.

Born in Wakayama in 1991 and based in Osaka. Completed a master’s degree in Concept and Media Planning, Department of Painting, Graduate School of Arts, Kyoto City University of Arts in 2017. Interested in people, nature, relations and distance between things and matters, he continues his exploratory journey based on his experiences through different approaches such as video art and performances. His exhibitions include solo exhibition “Pangasianodon gigas” (Kyoto City University of Arts Gallery, Kyoto) in 2019, group show “Kinan Art Week 2021” (Minakata Kumagusu Kenshokan, Wakayama) in 2021 and “Gunma Seinen Biennale 2021” (The Museum of Modern Art, Gunma) in 2021.

Born in Aomori Prefecture in 1994 and based in Hiroshima. After finishing his undergraduate study at Akita University of Art, he completed a master’s degree at Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. Focusing on accumulation of peculiar regional activities based on their cultural, social and historical features, he makes video works that seem to undo and reweave one’s memories. His exhibitions include “Sapporo International Art Festival 2020,” which was cancelled due to COVID19, but he participated in its online project, “L’Altro Giappone | Japan Week 2021” (National Archaeological Museum of Naples, Italy) in 2021 and “Tokyo Documentary Film Festival 2021” (Shinjuku K’s Cinema, Tokyo) in 2021.
