アーティスト・イン・レジデンスプログラム2022″Making Things”参加アーティスト、ネイタン・ディコン＝フルタドが考案したパターンメイキングワークショップを開催します。いらなくなったチラシを用いて、身近な形から新しい模様（パターン）を作ってみませんか？

ネイタン・ディコン＝フルタドNatan DIACON-FURTADOmore
1988年生まれ、アメリカ出身。リード大学卒業後、テュレーン大学を修了。南方の世界遺産から着想を得た幾何学模様とパターンメイキングを翻訳機とし、人種やアイデンティティー、コミュニティの問題に対し、コラボレーションを通して人々が経験、模索することを試みる。主な活動として、2021年 個展「Our Patterns, the Orator, the Astronomer,and the Poet」(Indiana University’s Wiley House Museum、アメリカ）、2022年 個展「Fieldwork at CCB Gallery」（Cecilia Coker Bell Gallery、アメリカ）。

Natan DIACON-FURTADOmore
Born in 1988 in U.S.A. DIACON=FURTADO is a graduate of Reed College, and Tulane University. His work embraces a globally southern heritage of fundamental geometries and pattern-making as visual translation devices for experiencing and exploring issues of race, identity and community through collaboration.
Major activities include the solo exhibitions “Our Patterns, the Orator, the Astronomer, and the Poet” (Indiana University’s Wiley House Museum, Bloomington, 2021), and “Fieldwork at CCB Gallery ”(Cecilia Coker Bell Gallery, Hartsville, 2022).
