国際芸術センター青森 [ACAC] は、2001年に設立された滞在制作のためのアートセンターです。アーティスト・イン・レジデンス（AIR）プログラムを活動の核とし、様々なジャンルの表現者たちによる創造と発表の場として活動を続けています。青森市中心部と行き来できる場所にありながら、八甲田山のふもと、豊かな自然環境の中に位置しています。施設は、世界的な建築家・安藤忠雄により「見えない建築」をテーマとして設計されました。
市民ガイドがツアー参加者のみなさんを、この青森公立大学 国際芸術センター青森の建築についてを中心にご案内します。ガイドの方々は、この「見えない建築」ツアーのためにワークショップやレクチャーなどを通して、ツアーを練り上げてきました。建築のことはもちろん、ACACのことや森の自然についてなど、ツアーに参加していただくみなさんの興味関心にガイドも触発されながら、楽しくACACをまわる建築ツアーです。
集合：展示棟ギャラリーA入口、予約不要・参加無料

Aomori Contemporary Art Centre [ACAC] is an art centre established in 2001, which offers residency programs. With the artist-in-residence (AIR) program at the core of its activities, it continues to serve as a place for creation and presentation by artists of various genres. Although the centre is located within easy reach of central Aomori City, it is situated in a rich natural environment at the foot of the Hakkoda Mountains. The facility was designed by world-renowned architect, ANDO Tadao under the theme of “invisible architecture”.
Guides will take tour participants on a tour of this ACAC focusing on its architecture. The guides have developed the tour through workshops and lectures. This is an architectural tour that will take you around ACAC in a fun way with the guides being inspired by the interests of the tour participants not only about the architecture, but also about ACAC and the nature of the forest.
Meeting point: Entrance of the Gallery A, Exhibition Hall, no reservation required, free of charge
