Yefman gave a slideshow of his past artworks for the first hour before moving the audience to the ACAC’s workshop studio, where they could experience actual production. Not only did participants help prepare the materials used in Yefman’s crocheted artworks, they assisted in his creative process as well.
Every day thereafter, Yefman opened his space in the studio to the public from 10:00-17:00 to accommodate the volunteers who came daily to help out. In doing so, Yefman created a collaborative atelier, a shared studio that continued to create and commune well after the opening of the exhibition and up until Yefman’s return home to Israel.
