写真と地酒を共に楽しむトークイベントを開催します。写真家・小説家の清水裕貴氏を招き、これまでの活動と青森のリサーチについてお話する予定です。清水氏は土地の歴史や伝承をリサーチし作品制作を行ってきました。また、2021年から赤々舎発行の『りんご通信』にて、ワインから風景や歴史を幻視するエッセイ「Bar Landscape」を連載しています。今回は青森で作られたお酒と、清水氏の写真作品を囲みながら、視覚芸術と嗅覚と味覚を接続する鑑賞体験を作ります。

また、昨年からみんなで作るマルシェとしてスタートした「青森港 暮らしのマルシェ」と協働し、トーク後に同会場で「出張くらマル」として、飲み物や軽食を楽しむ小さなアフターパーティーも予定しています。

    SHIMIZU Yuki

    1984年千葉県生まれ。武蔵野美術大学映像学科卒業。写真家、小説家。土地の歴史や伝承をリサーチし、複層的な記憶や風景の変遷への関心をもとに作品を制作している。近年の主な展示に「オランダ×千葉 撮る、物語る —サラ・ファン・ライ＆ダヴィット・ファン・デル・レーウ×清水裕貴」（2025、千葉県立美術館／千葉）、「MOTアニュアル2024 こうふくのしま」（2024、東京都現代美術館／東京）、「浮上」（2024、PGI／東京）、「眠れば潮」（2023、PURPLE／京都） など。 主な小説作品に短編小説『ホワイトサンズ』（『すばる』2026年4月号）、短編小説『光の味を知るものたち』（『すばる』2025年7月号）などがある。

A talk event exploring photography and local liquor will be held. Photographer and novelist SHIMIZU Yuki will speak about her artistic practice to date, as well as her recent research in Aomori.

Shimizu’s artistic practice is grounded in research into local histories, folklore, and oral traditions. Since 2021, Shimizu has also been contributing Bar Landscape, an essay series for Ringo Letter published by Akaaka Art Publishing, in which wine serves as a point of departure for conjuring landscapes and histories.

This event will bring together liquor produced in Aomori and selections from Shimizu’s photographic works, creating an experience that connects visual art with the senses of smell and taste.

In addition, we are collaborating with the “Aomori Port Cozy Living Market”, which started last year as a market created by everyone, and we are planning a small after-party at the same venue after the talk, where you can enjoy drinks and light snacks as a “pop-up Kuramaru”.
