長岡朋人
NAGAOKA Tomohito

1975年青森県生まれ。京都大学大学院理学研究科修了、博士(医学)。聖マリアンナ医科大学医学部准教授を経て、現在は青森公立大学教授。人類学および解剖学を専門とし、ペルーと日本を拠点に研究活動を行う。主な研究テーマは、古代アンデスにおける社会の複雑化過程の解明と戦争の起源。近年はアンデス文明遺跡の発掘調査や古人骨調査に取り組み、人類社会の形成過程や人々の暮らしについて研究を進めている。

Born in Aomori Prefecture in 1975. Nagaoka obtained a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University, and holds a doctorate in Medical Science. He is currently a professor at Aomori Public University, previously serving as an associate professor at St. Marianna University School of Medicine. Specializing in anthropology and anatomy, he conducts research in Peru and Japan. His main research themes concern the clarification of processes of social complexification and origins of conflict in ancient Andean societies. In recent years, he has been engaged in research on processes of human societal formational and human lifestyles, conducting archaeological excavations and surveys of ancient human remains in the ruins of Andean civilizations.
