インドネシア・ジャカルタ出身のアディ・スンドロは、現地で購入した揚げ物「ゴレガン」が個人情報の記載された印刷物に包まれていた経験をきっかけに、版画制作を通して、個人情報と公共の領域が交差する現象を探究してきました。

本ワークショップでは、家庭にある材料を使った版画技法「キッチンリトグラフ」を用い、オリジナルのデザインを施した包み紙を作ります。続いて、インドネシアの揚げ物「ゴレガン」をみんなで手作りして味わいます。
スンドロの作品制作の素材や原点である「紙と版画」、そして「ゴレガン」を通して、インドネシアと日本の文化的・社会的な違いを体験してみませんか？

    Adi SUNDORO

    1992年ジャカルタ生まれ。ジャカルタ州立大学およびバンドン工科大学で美術教育を学び、修士課程を修了。版画制作に取り組み、多様な印刷技法を組み合わせることで、伝統の枠にとらわれない独自の表現を追求している。日々の些細な出来事から社会的・政治的な問題まで、身近な現象にまなざしを向ける表現手段として、版画の特性を活かした創作を行っている。
    主な受賞歴としては、2016年フランスの「第1回インターナショナル・キッチン・リソグラフィー・コンテスト」にてパブリック・プライズ賞、2022年には「UOB ペインティング・オブ・ザ・イヤー2022」エスタブリッシュド・アーティスト部門で銅賞を受賞など。2019年にはジョグジャカルタのKKFにて初個展「Bualan Ikan: Narasi-narasi yang Terseret Arus」を開催。2025年には、ミュージアム・マチャン（MACAN）による子ども向けアートスペースのプロジェクト「GORENGAN Bureau（Good, Organized, Responsive, Engaged Neighborhood Citizen Bureau）」に起用された。
    2014年より版画スタジオを拠点とするコレクティブ「グラフィス・フル・ハラ」のメンバーとして活動し、版画の探求・実験・教育に注力している。現在はジャカルタを拠点に、ビジュアルアーティスト、クリエイティブディレクター、講師として活躍している。

Adi SUNDORO, from Jakarta, Indonesia, began exploring the intersection of personal information and the public sphere through printmaking, inspired by an experience in which a fried snack called gorengan he purchased locally was wrapped in printed material containing personal information.

In this workshop, participants will create their own wrapping paper using kitchen lithography, a printmaking technique that can be done with household materials, and decorate it with original designs. Next, everyone will make and enjoy the Indonesian fried snack gorengan together.

Through the materials and origins of Sundoro’s work—including “paper and printmaking” and “gorengan”—participants will have the opportunity to experience the cultural and social differences between Indonesia and Japan.

  • Adi SUNDORO

    Born in Jakarta in 1992. Adi Sundoro (Asun) completed his Fine Arts Education studies at Jakarta State University (UNJ) and Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) at the master’s degree. His passion for printmaking has resulted in a combination of various printing techniques that are often presented in unconventional format or even expanded. In his works, Asun often utilizes the principles of printmaking as an expression in seeing the daily phenomena around him, ranging from daily trivial issues to social politics. Some of his works have received awards such as the Public Prize Award at “The 1st International Kitchen Litho Contest 2016” in France and Bronze Winner at the UOB Painting of the Year 2022 in the Established Artist category. His first solo exhibition titled “Bualan Ikan: Narasi-narasi yang Terseret Arus” was held at KKF Yogyakarta in 2019. In 2025, Asun was commissioned by Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Nusantara (MACAN) for the Children’s Art Space; GORENGAN Bureau (Good, Organized, Responsive, Engaged Neighborhood Citizen Bureau).
    Since 2014 Asun has been actively involved in Grafis Huru Hara, a printmaking studio-based collective that focuses on the exploration, experimentation and education of printmaking. Asun lives and works in Jakarta, as a visual artist, creative director and lecturer.
