丹治りえは、滞在先で集めた日用品などを用いて、異なる地域で暮らす人々のプライベートな空間を再構築するプロジェクトを続けています。
本ワークショップでは「日常を写した写真」を手掛かりに、お話しながら街を歩き、それぞれの記憶や思い出を共有します。
写真を介して他者の生活や時間に思いを巡らせ、写真に写る日用品を探しながら歩くことは、普段とは少し違った視点で街を見つめるきっかけとなるでしょう。

ものを探すことを軸に、散歩をするような気持ちで一緒に街を歩けたらと思います。

日時：11月22日（土）10:00-16:00
会場：旧ユースタイル 2F、青森駅周辺
服装：屋外を歩きます。動きやすいかつ暖かい服装でお越しください。
持ち物：日常を写した写真（印刷したもの）、昼食

    TANJI Rie

    1983年福島県生まれ、沖縄県在住。2009年沖縄県立芸術大学大学院造形芸術研究科環境造形専攻彫刻修士課程修了。建造物の中の日常空間をモチーフに、建築資材や日用品など身近にある素材をアッサンブラージュし、仮設的な構造物を制作して、人間とモノまたは人間と環境の関係性を探っている。同時に社会的な力学によって生まれる構造とともにその影で見過ごされてしまう個人的な出来事に関心を寄せ、モノや場に対する人間の感覚を揺さぶる作品を展開することを試みている。

TANJI Rie continues a project in which she reconstructs the private spaces of people living in different regions, using daily goods collected during her residencies.
In this workshop, participants will bring photographs capturing scenes from their daily lives, walk through Aomori city while talking with each other, and share their memories and personal stories.
Looking at these photographs invites reflection on the lives and times of others, while searching for the everyday objects captured in them offers a chance to see the city from a slightly different perspective.
With “searching for things” as our starting point, I hope we can stroll through the city together in a relaxed, conversational way.
Please tell me about Aomori—its streets, and the everyday life you find there.

Date: Nov. 22 (sat), 10:00-16:00
Venue: 2F, 2-6-21 Shimmachi, Aomori, 030-0801 and around Aomori Station
Clothing: The workshop includes walking outdoors. Please come dressed warmly and in comfortable clothing suitable for walking.
What to bring: A printed photograph capturing your daily life, and please bring your own lunch.

  • TANJI Rie

    Born in Fukushima Prefecture in 1983, Tanji now resides in Okinawa Prefecture. In 2009, she received an MA in Sculpture from the Environmental Design Major of the Graduate School of Formative Arts at Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts. Using the everyday spaces within buildings as a motif, she uses found objects such as construction materials and household items to create assemblage pieces which serve as temporary structures examining the relationships between people and things, or between people and the environment. At the same time, she is concerned with the structures born out of social dynamics and the personal events that such structures obscure, creating works which attempt to shake up people’s perceptions of objects and sense of place.
