Artist SUGAWARA Kaho has conducted extensive research on birds, documenting their behavior, habitats, and the relationships between nature and humans in her field notebooks.

In this workshop, participants will observe birds, plants, and landscapes encountered in forests and wetlands, and create their own field notebooks by recording their observations through sketches, scents, and other sensory impressions.

Drawing on Sugawara’s artistic practice, participants will explore ways of observing the world from their own perspectives and develop an active, personal approach to interpreting their surroundings.
