エナジー・イン・ルーラルは地方都市を批評的な場として展開すべく、2021年に発足した3ヵ年のプロジェクトです。2年目となる2022年からはイタリアのインテルゾーナ文化協会（以下インテルゾーナ）とACACが取り組みます。
2022年は日本からアーティストの三原聡一郎とキュレーターの四方幸子がイタリアでのレジデンスプログラムに参加します。イタリアからはアーティストのニコラ・ディ・クローチェとキュレーターでインテルゾーナ代表のレアンドロ・ピサノがACACでリモートレジデンスを展開します。

Energies in the Rural is started in 2021 as a three-year project so that rural areas be open as critical fields for contemporary society. Since 2022, the project is conducted by Associazione Culturale Interzona, represented by its chairman Dr. Leandro Pisano (hereafter Interzona) in Italy and ACAC. In 2022, Japanese artist MIHARA Soichiro and curator SHIKATA Yukiko participate in artist in residence in Italy. And Italian artist Nicola Di Croce and Curator Leandro Pisano will participate in remote residency of ACAC.
